Are the guides certified for diving?
Yes! All scuba and snorkel tours are lead by a PADI-certified dive master.
What fish can I catch in Drake Bay, Costa Rica?
Fishing in Drake Bay, Costa Rica, you can catch roosterfish, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, marlin, cubera snapper, and more. Check out our page of what we're catching now and best catches by season.
What will I see snorkeling and diving around Caño Island?
Caño Island is home to sea turtles, white-tip reef sharks, colorful schools of tropical fish, and more. There's no way to know exactly what we'll see, but you can check out our gallery and species by season calendar to get an idea.
Do I need to be certified to do a Scuba tour?
No. If you are not certified, we can still safely dive up to 12 meters deep with one of our licensed guides.
How many people are on a tour?
The boat has a maximum capacity of 5 guests. All tours are private, so it will just be your group.
What should I bring?
Bring sunscreen, a sun shirt with SPF, a hat, and sunglasses.
We provide cold drinks and snacks. For full-day tours, we also provide lunch.

Are the tours a family-friendly activity?
Yes! Our guides have extensive experience hosting tours for people of all ages. For first-time scuba divers, the minimum age is 12 for safety reasons. Youth under 12 can still enjoy snorkeling safely!
FISHING TOURS
What kind of fishing boat will we be on?
Our boat is a center console Panga with 200 HP motor. It has depth sounder, GPS, radio, and cold drinks.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is provided only on full-day tours. All tours include cold drinks and tropical fruit to snack on.
