Our guides have spent their lives on the water in Drake Bay, Costa Rica. Fishing is a big part of who they are, and they enjoy sharing their favorite spots, techniques, and knowledge of the area. Their years on the water and enthusiasm for fishing and marine life help create great fishing, diving, snorkeling, and wildlife experiences.
All guides are fluent in English and Spanish and have experience welcoming guests from around the world.

Founder and guide
Kristian
Kristian was born and raised in the Drake Bay area. He loves the ocean and spends as much time as he can there snorkeling, diving, spearfishing, sportfishing, and surfing. He's been leading tours for 5 years in Drake Bay. He started Blue Horizon Tours in 2024 to be able to share his passion with more people.
Joseph
Joseph was born in Drake Bay and grew up splitting his time between Texas and Drake Bay, fishing in both places. He loves fishing and he goes out as much as possible. He previously worked leading boats for competitive fishing, but he's been working in the Drake Bay tourism industry for 4 years, including a year at Blue Horizon.
